Shoresh Nursery is a small, values-led nursery in the heart of Hove. We offer full-day and part-time care for children aged 9 months to 5 years, in two spaces: The Nest for babies and toddlers, and Shoresh Pre-School for older children.

Our approach blends the Early Years Foundation Stage with Montessori principles — encouraging independence, purposeful play, and a genuine love of learning. Jewish values, festivals, and the Hebrew language are woven naturally into daily life.

Shoresh is a Jewish nursery, open to all families. You don’t need to be Jewish, or to know anything about Jewish life, to feel at home here.

Funded places are available from the term after your child turns 9 months. We accept 15 and 30-hour funded places for eligible families, stretched across the full year to keep things consistent and simple.

Brighton Jewish Hub runs a year-round programme of events rooted in Jewish culture, celebration, and community. Talks, live music, comedy, film screenings, workshops, and more — open to everyone.

Our events bring children, families, and adults together — from family days and youth programming to cultural evenings that give everyone a way into Jewish joy.

The Jewish calendar shapes our year. Chanukah, Pesach, Shabbat, and the full rhythm of Jewish life are celebrated at Brighton Jewish Hub, with events that welcome the whole community — however connected to Jewish life you already are.

Brighton Jewish Hub is also available for private hire — for celebrations, simchas, and community gatherings. Talk to us about what you’re planning.
